In 2005 Fa Jun began studying Tui Na (Chinese Medical Massage) under Jeff Coté at the Charles River Healing Institute, becoming certified to instruct in 2008.  During this period he also received his 'Therapist' certification in Chinese Medical Qigong, and Associate Instructor certification in the Universal Healing Dao Qigong system.

From 2007-2009 Rev Fa Jun instructed for the Heartwood Institute's Asian Bodywork and Western Massage therapy programs.  He continued his education in yoga and deep-tissue/structural bodywork at this time.

In 2011 Fa Jun received his 'Masters' certification in Chinese Medical Qigong.  Since that time he has continued his practice of Chinese Energetic Medicine, Structural Bodywork, Yoga Instruction, and Martial Arts instruction.

He currently practices in Nevada County, CA.

"In all my many years of receiving bodywork, Fa Jun has reliably been the one massage therapist I've sought out to address not only my physical pain, but the underlying patterns that caused it."

Traditional Asian Bodywork

Asian Bodywork comes from the indigenous practices of places like India, China, Thailand, and Tibet.  This energetic medicine works with pressure points, meridians, stretches with the aim to rebalance the body from the skeletal system all the way to the subtle energy field - and everything in between.

Orthopedic Bodywork

Orthopedic Bodywork is results-oriented massage that utilizes trigger points, cross fiber friction, assisted stretching and movement exercises, and myofascial release.

This type of bodywork works to address posture, injuries, and chronic pain in order to enhance enjoyment of life.

Medical Qigong

Medical Qigong is a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine that utilizes acupressure, healing sounds, and subtle energy work.

Clients receive assessment through traditional pulse analysis and other methods, and in addition to qigong therapy are given self-care exercises to perform between sessions.
